Soul Plane: Robert Pattinson Jet-Sets Off with Guitar in Hand (PHOTOS)

Robert Pattinson is making music in flight.

The Twilight heartthrob was spotted catching a plane in St. Thomas, reportedly after filming some scenes for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. However, R. Pattz told TODAY show anchor Matt Lauer last week that he had already wrapped on the movies. “It was a long process, eight months.” he admitted to Lauer, adding jokingly, “So it was kind of a relief to finally get the contacts out of my eyes. I was just about to kill someone.” 

Can we expect a song from the actor on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack?

It might be too soon to tell, but Pattinson did record an acoustic track on the first Twilight soundtrack called "Never Think." 

Meanwhile, his movie Water For Elephants opened on Friday and came in No. 3 at the holiday weekend box office, grossing 17.5 million. In the film, Pattinson plays a former college student who decides to join the circus after his parents pass away. During his journey, he falls for a married woman, played by Reese Witherspoon.
