"Bad Ass" Jane Lynch to Host Do Something Awards

Glee star Jane Lynch is one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood, and the charitable star isn't slowing down too much this summer! It was announced this morning that Jane will host VH1's Do Something Awards in August for the second year in a row.

So why was the Emmy and Golden Globes winner chosen again?

That's kind of a rhetorical question.

“Social change is about breaking down barriers. These kids are like rock stars, but without guitars or leather pants,” said Nancy Lublin, CEO and Chief Old Person at DoSomething.org. “Jane Lynch is a bad ass, which is why we love her.”

The star-studded telecast will air on VH1 August 18, 2011 at 9pm EST. Can't wait to see what Jane has in store for us!
