The Other Kate (Hudson) Gets Wild in Animal-Print Dress (PHOTOS)

Looking like Hollywood royalty, a very pregnant Kate Hudson dressed up her baby bump with a flowing animal-print dress Thursday evening when she stepped out for the Hawn Foundation charity event at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.

The fashionable actress complimented her leopard print number with a pair of black peep toe heels and a black clutch bag by Edie Parker. Kate's billowing dress was the latest in a series of stylish numbers the actress has worn this week.

Kate dropped a surprise on the world Wednesday by announcing on Today that she was engaged, flashing her huge ring. Hudson told Matt Lauer that she and boyfriend Matt Bellamy, who sings for the hit rock band Muse, will be tying the knot at some point.

Hudson is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child, and said that now that she’s in her third trimester, she’s starting to feel the burden of the pregnancy once again.

She has one other child (a son named Ryder) from her marriage with Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.
