Prince William laid one on his blushing bride Kate Middleton on Friday. This was their first smooch as a married couple, and Kate’s first kiss as a princess!
William’s parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana shared their first kiss as a married couple in 1981 on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as a cheering crowd looked on. This has become a royal tradition. On July 23, 1986, Prince Edward married Sarah Ferguson and also chose to kiss his bride on the balcony as England watched.
William and Kate carried on this tradition as well, sharing their first smooch on that same balcony!
The young couple wed at Westminster Abbey as the world looked on. Prior to the highly anticipated kiss, Kate arrived at the church in a stunning Sarah Burton gown — complete with lace sleeves with a plunging neckline and full veil. She entered the Abbey led by her father, while sister and maid of honor Pippa held her train.
William — in full uniform and alongside his brother Harry — arrived at around 10:15 a.m. local time wearing a red military jacket, with Harry in the more traditional dark coat. the ceremony lasted a bit more than an hour, as William and Kate smiled and stared at each other before exchanging vows and eventually making their way out of the Abbey, down the red carpet and into the carriage for a ride through London.

This is nothing. They should have kissed like Christina Aguilera and her toyboy, Matt Rutler when they shared a very passionate French kiss last month. Christina is an excellent kisser. She appeared to be almost devouring Matt and he looked like he couldn’t get enough of her and was overwhelmed by her sexiness

And that’s what the royal family is—it’s a huge game of pretend. These aren’t special people—it’s fake outfits, fake phony hats and gowns.
you dont unerstand the significance of this especially for the english people and europeans for that fact. They are simply a symbol of unity and a symbol for the country. They are true natives of the country and they represent the people. Do some research before you make such an ignorant remark.

It was a wedding for Christ’s sake. ”Let’s pretend they’re special people?” Oh yeah, because being the Prince isn’t special? Now they’re the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? They might be future King and Queen?! What sort of planet do you live on you uneducated fool. If anything they’re not playing pretend because Kate was classed as a ”commoner” because she is not of royal blood so they married because they are in love, not because it’s a ”huge game of pretend”. Idiot.

There is nothing to dislike about the Royal Family and just because you are too miserable to participate in a fun, harmless, inspiring tradition that is meant to bring everyone together doesn’t mean you have to try to ruin it for everyone else. You reek of arrogant, cynical, self absorbed American, so who are you to say what you think the English people want or don’t want. You don’t even know what you want. That’s why you’re so miserable.
Why would I watch the wedding? I couldn’t take any of that seriously at all. I don’t think the so-called Royal Family speak for England now and I don’t think England needs them. I do seriously believe they are benefit scroungers, nothing else. I don’t believe they serve any purpose whatsoever. I’m not an anarchist but I believe that people don’t want the Royal Family. The so-called Royal Family. They’re not royal to me. But they’re royal to the media for some reason.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL wedding! Her dress was perfection, her hair was lovely, the music was splendid, the vows were sincere and heart felt, the groom was soooo caring, the bride ABSOLUTELY radiant! I loved the trees, the flowers, the readings…Diana would be so proud of her son and new daughter! God Bless the newlyweds!

This wedding was so beautiful (although early for those of us in the states) its symbolism is one of the greatest most inspiring thing. Their love is so strong as seen in pictures. The way the show strength, and unity is perfect for them. For to have the perfect wedding to show their love for each other is speechless. She looked so beautiful in her dress its elegance adding all the more to her. While he looked handsom in his uniform. This is a great start to their lives together. The Royal family is so lucky to have such a fine lady. The symbolism of their family grows stronger as time progresses and they change when change is needed.
