Relive Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding in 60 Seconds
As the world looked on, the young couple wed at Westminster Abbey on Friday becoming the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Following the ceremony, the two rode to Buckingham Palace where they shared their first public kiss as husband and wife on the palace's balcony.
The long-awaited public display of affection was quick, as the crowds cheered on. The couple then went in for a second kiss.
The rest of the wedding party, including the Queen, the Middleton family, and Prince Charles and Camilla Bowles watch on as the Royal Air Force and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flew over the celebratory crowd.
Prior to the highly anticipated kiss, Kate arrived at the church in a stunning Sarah Burton gown — complete with lace sleeves with a plunging neckline and full veil. She entered the Abbey led by her father, while sister and maid of honor Pippa held her train.
