Demi Lovato Posts Bikini Pic (PHOTO)
Just months after leaving a treatment facility for an eating disorder, Demi Lovato is proud to be back in good health and tweeting about it!
The former Sonny with a Chance star posted a pic of herself in a white bikini, writing:
“I’ve been working so hard to get healthy and fit.. I can’t believe I’m about to do this but I’m so excited.. Here’s my bikini time body!”
She later wrote: “It hasn’t been easy, but it starts with a commitment to yourself.. Your mind.. And your soul. And trust me, I’m still working at it!!”
Just last month, the singer/actress went on a mini media tour, talking about her issues in the hopes that it would help other girls out there that may be dealing with the same insecurities.
Demi chatted with Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts this past April, and disclosed how getting bullied led to an eating disorder and bouts with cutting when she was younger. “I literally didn’t know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, ‘Well, you’re fat.” Demi seemed to be on the road to recovery and was eager to tell her story. She said on GMA, “The real reason why I’m sitting down with you is to open up the eyes of so many young girls, that it doesn’t have to be this way.”
Demi isn’t the only former Disney star to show off her bikini body this week. Miley Cyrus flaunted her two-piece figure wihle she and her family soaked up the sun in Brazil over the weekend.

Just goes to show you: She was bullied all of her life for her weight. She was definitely good-looking before, but SRSLY, LOOK AT HER NOW! :D

ummmm……..I know there comes a point in girl’s life where she just does not give a shit,she get’s into that bikini and makes love to the camera.But seriously,yes she has had some issues in the past and shit we all go through second after second.That does not cut her some slack to look like this.Jeeees.Hit the gym girlfriend.I will not lie to her.I love her,but truth is,thunder thighs need to kick the bucket.
That’s just rude. It’s people like you who make girls think they have to be super-thin and make them go off on unrealistic dreams.
Demi looks perfectly healthy. Her thighs look fine. Some people are born to be curvy…not all of us are going to look alike and be matchstick-thin.
Oh? You then like “curvy” guys? Do you accept a guy as he is, or prefer the “sensitive” type? Get real. It’s human nature to desire what we want, not what we have or is available.
Girl, PLEASE. You didn’t just say that did you? It’s people like you that make girls feel like we have to be stick thin and have chicken legs to be beautiful. You should feel responsible for her feeling that she was never pretty enough, even though it wasn’t just you. But you were part of it. She’s very beautiful, and she doesn’t need you to tell her wether or not she is. You know, maybe you should hit the gym yourself before critisizing other people. Nobodys perfect no matter how much you want them to be.
Why did she tweet a photo of Snooki in a bathing suit? I’m very confused.
Glad she is back in shape, healthy now, her body and hips are looking good.
phelicia dont you think your critical comments like that is what led her on the road to cutting and having an eating disorder! and if your forgetting shes a fully developed 18 year old she isnt gonna have chicken legs! Im very proud of Demi for staying strong and reminding girls not to let what people do or say control how you treat your body.

She looks fantastic in my humble opinion. Being a woman in love with fitness, I appreciate her over muscle tone. I don’t think she’s as orange as the photo makes her appear, if you look at the rest of the photo, it has an orange tint to it already. My guess is, this photo was taken with very poor lighting and that camera phone quality isn’t helping any. BTW, she is extremely short, so for her to maintain a healthy weight after all she’s been through is extremely difficult. Anyone that says she’s fat is either delusional or jealous, she is in great shape now.
