The funniest woman in show business, Tina Fey, turns 41 today, May 18, and with her book Bossypants resting atop the New York Time’s Bestsellers List, countless awards, a hit sitcom, and a new baby on the way, it looks like Fey is (once again) getting the last laugh.

Born Elizabeth Stamatina Fey in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, Fey sharpened her comedic chops in Chicago’s famed Second City improv group. Tina went on to become a staff writer for Saturday Night Live and eventually became a performer for the show. She has also starred in films alongside Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls), Steve Carell (Date Night) and SNL alum (and real life bestie) Amy Poehler (Baby Mama).
