Oprah Winfrey’s Star-Studded Farewell Show Includes Beyonce, Madonna and Tom Cruise

Over 13,000 fans packed the United Center in Chicago last night for the final farewell taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Oprah, who’s retiring her show after 25 years, was joined by a long list of celebrities including Beyonce, Madonna, Maria Shriver and Tom Cruise, who were all there to bid her farewell.

Although most of the show’s content is still under wraps, several tidbits have been leaked. So what can we expect from the star-studded event?

– Oprah’s charity work was showcased, as celebrities reflected on her influence. “She fights for things she believes in, even if it makes her unpopular,” Madonna said. “You always had the power, and that is the message you brought into our lives,” said Tom Cruise — who thankfully did not jump on the couch.

– Performances by: Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, Patti LaBelle, Beyonce and Rosie O’Donnell.

Jerry Seinfeld reportedly gave a short stand up routine.

Maria Shriver bravely attended the farewell show — on the same day it was revealed that her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, had fathered a child with a woman. Although that topic wasn’t discussed, Maria let Oprah know what a great friend she had been through the years. “You have given me love, support, wisdom and most of all the truth,” Shriver told Winfrey.

-Appearances by: Tom Hanks, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Beyonce, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes, Dakota Fanning, Michael Jordan and Diane Sawyer. (And of course, many more yet to be named celebs!)
