Because He's Hot: Ian Somerhalder Attends CW Upfronts in NYC (PHOTOS)

The cast of The Vampire Diaries attended the CW upfronts in NYC on Thursday afternoon, and we have to admit, we only had eyes for one person in particular -- Ian Somerhalder!

The actor, who played baddie vampire Damon on the hit series, walked the carpet and was looking incredibly sexy in an all black suit.

Not only is Ian a good looking fella, but he's charitable, too!

Ian is an avid supporter of World Ocean Day, and just returned from South Africa. While he was there, he tweeted:
