Selena Gomez Transforms Herself for ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ Video (PHOTOS)
Selena Gomez was all glammed up in true superstar fashion, as the teen starlet hit the beach to film her newest music video.
Rocking some mean-looking eye-makeup and pin-straight dark hair (striking a major resemblance to our pal Khloe Kardashian), Selena hula-hooped, danced and romanced her way down a Malibu beach for her “Love You Like a Love Song” video. But who was the romance with? Her boyfriend Justin Bieber?
Nope!
Alongside Selena was a tall, skinny long-haired fella named Oliver Seitz. The two strolled romantically down the beach, and even hugged and canoodled at one point for the video. There was even a pink horse thrown in for good measure, and the animal’s presence was enough to anger fellow pop star Pink into writing on Twitter:
“If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame … Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.”

I do understand, however, that they used some stuff that was completely harmless to the animals. Although, one still has to wonder: Why paint the horses, even with a harmless form of “paint”, when they can film white horses and then simply CGI some color on there.

It’s not a matter of wether the material was toxic or not. There are non-toxic substances that can hurt us regardless. What hurts a human being and what hurts a horse are not the same. Besides, there is no reason to subject an animal – that has not agreed to it – to unnecesasary pain just for the sake of it. Little Ms Selena could think of someone else besides her for a change.

I’m upset, because someone would do something this superficial to an animal. Treating it like it’s an inanimate object or a thing for her to play with…with NO regard for this animal’s feelings. That’s why I’m upset. If she had painted a person pink, then it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, because the Person would have been able to give his or her consent. The animal can’t do that and therefore it should not have been done.
