It's being hailed as the "Feel Bad Movie," and though it's not hitting theaters until Christmas time, the first trailer for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was released over Memorial Day weekend.

Rooney Mara has transformed herself from the preppy Boston college girl in The Social Network to the edgy, dysfunctional and brooding Lisbeth Salander.

The actress stars opposite 007 actor Daniel Craig as the goth computer hacker in The Social Network director David Fincher's take on the first book of the late Stieg Larsson's hugely popular Millennium Trilogy. Craig takes on the role of journalist Mikael Blomkvist, who is asked to solve a decades-old mystery.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo began shooting this fall in Sweden, and is scheduled for a worldwide release December 21, 2011. The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest are the other two films of the proposed series. The book series was also made into a movie trilogy in Sweden and actress Noomi Rapace played the role of Lisbeth.

"Trent Reznor has teamed up with singer Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs for a cover of Led Zeppelin's iconic Immigrant Song. The song will appear on the soundtrack to the English-language version of the film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."

Hey - who does that cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song"? That's awesome!

Im from Sweden and i just love the movies that WE have made.. why does america have to come and destroy it ? It will be nothing special and seriously the girl doing Lisbeth can not act it better then Noomi. I do sound bitter but i am, im sick of america taking the good of everything and trying to make it to their own

Unfortunately, the trailer is nothing special. Every clip in the trailer is identical with the Original film. This film is going to be a tragic. Hollywood need to stop doing re-makes because it is only making them look worse than ever.
