Teresa Giudice: CHICAGO!
My book tour for “Fabulicious!” continues! I keep criss-crossing the country -- from New York to LA to Philly to Miami to Chicago and back. It’s a good thing I can sleep on planes (I like the red eye because I like to get home to my girls as soon as possible... I usually only stay over 1 night, or fly in and back the same day if I can).
This was my very first time to Chicago and I love love loved it! I stayed at the amazing Drake hotel which meant I could walk right down Michigan Avenue and shop! I went to Bloomingdale’s at the Water Tower. Everyone was so nice! And the weather was perfect!
I taped a cooking segment for ABC7 news. Here’s a behind-the-scenes pic, and the link.
It’s a lot harder than you’d think doing an interview while you’re cooking on camera. I get so nervous that I’m going to burn something, and they’re asking me about my sister-in-law! But it all turned out OK.
Had a book signing at Book Stall in Winnetka. Very nice town. Isn’t that where the “Home Alone” house is? I saw lots of Lily Pulitzer... Can’t wait to come back and stay longer next time. And I’ll bring Joe. Looks like a great nightlife here. xx
