Prince William & Kate Middleton’s Off Camera Wedding Moments Revealed
It's been over a month since the world watched Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton exchange vows, but Vanity Fair has even more details into the private moments that weren't caught on camera.
Between their wedding festivities, a Palace aide told the magazine that the newlyweds watched the TV coverage of their wedding. "It was just the two of them, and they were so excited to actually see it on the television," the aide disclosed, adding that they relaxed in terry-cloth robes. "Harry joined them afterwards, and they were all in high spirits."
William has never been one for PDA or the press being involved in his personal life which is why he chose to keep his honeymoon quiet.
"By going back to work before leaving for their honeymoon, they were able to escape," a source close to the couple explained to VF. "It was a deliberate decoy." The couple did honeymoon a few weeks later in Seychelles. According to the magazine, this is where Kate and William are said to have made a secret marriage pact years ago.
Prior to their arrival, the prince made sure their private villa was fully stocked. The VF source says that William requested that their favorite snack of Philadelphia cream cheese and Brussels sprouts be available, and the two also dined on fresh seafood.
William and Kate are now residing at their Anglesey farmhouse and as of late, Kate has not appointed her ladies in waiting. The couple is keeping a small staff, reportedly only traveling with six to 10 people in their entourage (Prince Charles travels with a staff of 15). In more Will and Kate news, the couple recently announced that they would make their first official post-honeymoon appearance as couple at the upcoming 10th Absolute Return for Kids gala dinner on June 9. The dinner will benefit the Foundation for Princes William and Harry.
