'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' Trailer Is Here (VIDEO)

Have you been salivating for your first look at what's to come in David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo? Today's your lucky day.

Over the weekend, grainy cell-phone camera video of the film's trailer emerged, and now there's a legit HD version of the trailer for the much-anticipated American movie version of the wildly popular Stieg Larssen thriller, starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.

With as much suspense, intensity and jarring drama that you can pack into just under 2 minutes, the trailer gives fans a glimpse of just how far Mara went to become lead character Lisbeth Salander -- piercings, choppy hair and all. All of the action unfolds over a shrilly remake of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song," done by none other than Trent Reznor, who won an Oscar for his work alongside Fincher on The Social Network (which Mara was also in).

Tattoo will open up on December 21.
