Look Ma, No Green Screen! High-Flying 'Transformers 3' Stunts Revealed
The uber-producer was transfixed when he saw a 60 Minutes special that featured pro skier and precision sky diver J.T. Holmes flying high in his "wing suits" -- specially designed outfits that turn your average base jumper into a flying squirrel. Natch, his first thought was that he wanted to recruit these band of crazies for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. So he did!
The crew shut down parts of downtown Chicago so the sky fliers could soar between some of the tallest buildings in the world, including the Sears Tower. All the stunts were live action, without wires or green screen. Watch the video to see the action!
