Nicole Scherzinger Makes First Appearance Since Replacing Cheryl Cole on ‘X-Factor’ (PHOTOS)

Newly appointed X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger was all smiles, as she arrived to the ITV studios in London on Monday. She stepped out wearing a tan tank, white coat, jean skirt and knee-high boots.

Earlier today, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the Pussycat Dolls singer will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel — joining Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on the hit show.

Although there is no official confirmation as to why Cole left the show, sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Cole didn’t mesh with the other judges.

The source said:

“There was no spark. It was nobody’s fault. It just didn’t work.”

There’s no word on if Cole will be used at all for the U.S. edition of X-Factor, which premieres in September.

Meanwhile, Paula and Simon have apparently reignited their spark. The former American Idol judges were spotted last month gearing up for the first round of X-Factor auditions — hugging and kissing as they reunited. We can’t wait to see what these two have in store.
