MUST WATCH: Absolutely Stunning ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Routine
Last night was the big reveal on So You Think You Can Dance as the top 20 finalists were revealed — 10 guys and 10 girls who will partner throughout the season as American votes for their favorites.
In a welcome change, the top 20 were revealed to a live audience (rather than a pre-taped show) and then performed in their own specialized style to show off their best. This year the dancers are truly amazing, as were the routines they danced — but one really stood out.
Travis Wall (a former SYTYCD contestant himself back in 2006) has matured into a brilliant choreographer, as evidenced by his work Thursday night. With the final five announced –Mitchell Kelly, Caitlynn Lawson, Ashley Rich, Alexander Fost and Ryan Ramirez — the contemporary dancers performed to “Moth’s Wings” by Passion Pit to deliver an absolutely stunning routine and a highlight of the night.
