Angelina Jolie Goes Make-Up Free for Louis Vuitton 'Core Values' Ad (PHOTOS)
Major fashion photo shoots are often overwhelmingly stylized, with massively posh sets and infinite make-up and wardrobe resources for whatever the celebrity being shot might want or need. However, when Angelina Jolie sat down to shoot pics for Louis Vuitton's "Core Values" campaign, that all changed.
Jolie posed for the photos in no make-up, and in the ultimate fashion coup, wore her own clothes for the pictures shot by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. In the photos unveiled by WWD, Jolie is seen sitting on a footbridge in Cambodia, wearing weathered earthtone pants and long-sleeved shirt.
Pietro Beccari, Vuitton’s executive vice president, told WWD that "people are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation ... I like the fact that it’s a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand.”
Meanwhile, Jolie has been busy promoting her new film, Kung Fu Panda 2. Even though she only has voice-over work in the animated movie, she's been hitting the publicity trail with the rest of her cast.
In other Jolie news, word spread last week that there will likely be a sequel to her smash hit action movie Salt.
Weeks ago, Jolie and Brad Pitt celebrated the fifth birthday of daughter Shiloh in a private party.
