‘True Blood’s’ Jim Parrack Tees Off For Charity
Other celebs who attended included Bailey Chase, Kevin Farley, and Danny Masterson.
This exciting celebrity tournament supports the Gentle Barn’s programs that benefit inner city, at-risk and special needs children, and rescued animals like Holy and Madonna, a pair of rescued cows named and adopted by the lovely Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi.
Celebuzz was able to catch up with TB‘s Hoyt as he teed off at the driving range.
Why did you come out here today?
My wife asked me to come. I know about the organization Gentle Barn because my wife is a volunteer and she comes home and tells me about it. She’s very effected by it and thinks it’s a positive thing so I wanted to come and support that.
How long have you been golfing?
It was going to be my first profession and then I gave it up 12 years ago. I quit playing, then played (again) for five years. Now, I play twice a year.
What was your worst golfing experience?
I knew a guy who used a restroom in a golf hole because he knew our coach was behind us and she would have to deal with it. So that was bad.
What can we expect from this season of True Blood?
I think it’s the most shocking season yet just because you’re starting to see why people are the way that they are. They start to do things out of place, they start to do things out of deeper parts of themselves and it’s unpredictable and frightening, and exciting.
What direction are Hoyt and Jessica going in?
They’re really giving it a go. Our love is special, we’re different and we can handle anything and we’re starting to see that there are more difficult things to it.
The season premiere of True Blood airs this Sunday, June 26 on HBO.
