Anne Hathaway Reveals Her 'Dark Knight Rises' Weight Loss Workout
Anne Hathaway has always been slim, but she's been taking on a whole new weight loss regimen as she prepares for her upcoming role as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
In Harper's Bazaar's August issue, on newsstands July 12th, Anne admits she has been working out five days a week to tone her body. In addition to doing rigorous exercise and stunt training, she also does an hour and a half of dance. "I've always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong," she said.
Also in the interview, the actress opens up about her love life and finally talks about her infamous night of co-hosting the Oscars with James Franco.
When asked about her new beau Adam Shulman, Anne remained pretty coy, saying "So far, it’s worked out great."
And as for Franco’s unflattering comments about her on The Late Show With David Letterman, Anne is trying to shrug it off.
“How did I take it? ... I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we e-mailed a bit. In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don’t see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars.”
