Bravo Rep on 'Housewives' Departure: 'No Decisions Have Been Made'
Is Real Housewives of New York City losing two of its most controversial cast members? According to HollywoodLife, both Alex McCord and newcomer Cindy Barshop have decided that they won't be returning to the show but a rep for Bravo tells Celebuzz that "no decisions have been made" with regards to next season.
RHONY has already lost two cast members over its four season run – Jennifer Gilbert was given a limited role on the show before leaving and fast-talking Bethenny Frankel left the series after its third season to start her own reality show.
"No decisions have been made regarding next season," a rep tells Celebuzz in a statement. "Everything at this point is rumor."
Alex – a former graphic designer and aspiring model – has been with the show since it first aired in 2008. Alex has established herself as something of the underdog of the show as she is often mocked by other cast members for living in Brooklyn and her wild antics with social-climbing husband, Simon van Kempen.
Check out Alex getting into a fight with LuAnn De Lesseps during a recent episode below.
Cindy, who joined the show before its fourth season, is best known as the owner of Completely Bare, a hair-removal spa that specializes in Brazilian bikini waxes. Since she began the show, Cindy has gotten her fair share of camera time by getting into fights with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.
Do you think Alex and Cindy will really leave the show – and will you watch the series without them? Let us know in the comments.
