This year’s ESPYs are getting a jolt of comedy thanks to Serena Williams and host Seth Meyers.

In a new promo, they spoof the prom theme with Serena singing  – badly. As she serenades the crowd, Seth shouts: “You’ll always be my prom queen!” 

“Thank you Seth Meyers,” she warbles back, unable to hold the note. Serena does show off one impressive skill, however.

The 29-year-old tennis pro plays the clarinet rather well, actually! It’s not clear if it’s really her playing, but she certainly has all the right jazzy moves. Get it girl! 

The ESPYs celebrate the greatest sport stories of the past year — from the most amazing plays to the biggest upsets. Natch, fans are welcome to join in the voting process online.
