Kate Middleton & Prince William Leave for North America (PHOTOS)

Will & Kate's Trip
A guide to the couple's visit.
Newlyweds Kate Middleton and Prince William were in perfect fashion sync when they were spotted leaving for their North American tour on Thursday morning.

The Royal couple wore matching navy blue outfits with Will sporting one of his trademark blue suits and Kate wearing a well-tailored suit dress and blazer. While Kate looked typically chic, the real stand-out of her outfit was her glossy, freshly-curled hair, which might hint that the rumors about Kate bringing along her hairstylist James Pryce with her to North America are true.

Kate and William are expected to arrive in Ottawa at 2 pm ET. The pair will be greeted by Canada’s Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, before attending a barbecue reception at Government House.

Kate and William’s eleven-day, nine-city North American tour will mostly consist of official events and receptions – most notably an event in Ottawa on Canada Day where Prince William will give an official speech and a three-day weekend in Los Angeles. This will be the couple’s first official tour together so the pressure is on for them to both be on their best behavior.

This will be Kate’s first visit to North America, but not her first trip outside of Europe – Kate spent her gap year volunteering with Raleigh International in Chile before heading back to the UK to attend university.

While Kate was busy preparing for her trip to North America, her sister Pippa Middleton was busy putting some pesky rumors to rest. Earlier this week, Pippa attended Wimbledon with her boyfriend, Alex Loudon, proving that the two – despite multiple reports – have not broken up. Check out the cuddly photos below.

It’s worth noting that Pippa is becoming a style icon, much like her older sister. The red Hobbs dress that Pippa wore to Wimbledon reportedly sold out less than 24 hours after she was photographed wearing it.
