Lindsay Lohan Celebrates House Arrest Freedom with Emile Hirsch (PHOTOS)
The Mean Girls actress enjoyed her first night out in Hollywood in a little over a month by hitting up the Lexington Social House with actor and friend Emile Hirsch. LiLo attempted to leave the restaurant quietly in an understated black dress but the blinding lights from gathering paparazzi made her lose her footing and take a minor tumble.
Lindsay was released from house arrest on Wednesday morning after serving 35 days of her 120-day sentence. The actress kicked off her first day of freedom by visiting the Downtown Women’s Center to log in some community service hours. (Lindsay was also sentenced to 480 hours of community service in addition to house arrest.)
“Had a great day today at the Downtown Women’s Center,” Lindsay tweeted following her release. “Thank you everyone – staff, volunteers and the amazing women I get to see for being so kind.”
Lindsay was originally sentenced to house arrest after pleading no contest to charges that she shoplifted a $2,500 necklace from a Venice Beach boutique earlier this year. Lindsay recently attracted a flurry of media attention when she tested positive for alcohol on June 22. However, a judge later ruled that not drinking alcohol wasn’t a stipulation of Lindsay’s probation so she wouldn’t have to go back to jail for the positive test.
The alcohol test came after Lindsay threw a much-publicized Memorial Day BBQ on the roof of her Venice Beach townhouse while under house arrest. Check out photos from LiLo’s house arrest bash below.
told Celebuzz that he felt that LiLo’s career can never be saved after her multiple run-ins with the law.
“She will never be able to make a legitimate comeback because she’s lost a good portion of her fan base,” Dan told Celebuzz. “The public doesn’t trust her, and she can no longer be a role model for the generation that used to worship her.”
