What is the 4th of July without some good tunes to listen to while you gaze at some fireworks? Well this year, Celebuzz put together a playlist you can rock out to while celebrating America's birthday this year.

First up to bat we have the ultimate birthday song for America (at least in our eyes) -- Miley Cyrus's "Party in the U.S.A." Check out the video above!

So, what other songs should you make sure to put on your iPod?

A song that offers some advice, Lenny Kravitz's "American Woman."

Carrie Underwood is our favorite "All-American Girl."

You can't eat it, but you can definitely listen! Madonna's "American Pie" is another one of our favorites.

Bruce Springsteen makes us feel proud to be "Born in the U.S.A."

We love being young in the U.S! Just like Kim Wilde's song says "We're the 'Kids In America.'"

"American Girl" by Tom Petty is definitely also a patriotic favorite.

Dave Matthews Band and their song "American Baby" definitely makes us want to "stay beautiful and American."

The song "United States of Eurasia" by Muse is a wonderful Fourth of July tribute to our nation.

Niel Diamond's "America" is a patriotic classic.

The last song on the Fourth of July playlist is a true red, white, and blue tune - "Our Country" by John Mellencamp

Did we get all of the best Fourth of July hits, or did we miss some of your all-time favorites? Let us know through comments!

The funny thing about calling protest & rebellion songs "too unpatriotic" for a patriotic day as Independence Day, is that protest and rebellion are a component of the American spirit. Shouldn't they be appropriate for the day where all that was put on paper?

    Seriously?

Madonna's version of American Pie? Seriously? And anyone that thinks Born in the USA is a patriotic song needs to actually listen to what he is saying.

Why does everyone say Born in the USA is not a patriotic song? Patriotism isn't just worshipping a flag and walking lock and step with an idealism. I love this country and to me artists like Bruce Springsteen, Woody Gutherie and Bob Dylan are all true patriots.

"Our Country" is probably the most patriotic song on here. And the best. Well, next to "Born in the USA", but still.

"United States of Eurasia" is about as far from a "tribute to our nation" as you can get. The song not only has absolutely nothing to do with the USA, but it's vilifying government in all its forms, worldwide, and promotes uniting the globe into one mega-country. So, no. Not only non-patriotic, but very distinctly un-American.
