Lady Gaga Channels Marge Simpson in Singapore (PHOTOS)
Lady Gaga has already taken fashion cues from Muppets and religious figures but now it looks like the eccentric singer has taken a hair lesson from one of America's favorite cartoon moms.
The "Edge of Glory" singer debuted a new Marge Simpson-inspired 'do when she attended a press conference in Singapore earlier this week. Decked out in sky-high beige and clear platforms and giant beige dot dress, Gaga reclined against a black couch as she greeted reporters and the President of Universal Music Group International, who presented the singer with a special plaque.
While Gaga looked happy to greet the press in Singapore, she probably isn't too happy that Ian Halperin, a notorious investigative journalist, is penning a book that alleges that Gaga is a drug addict and suffers from a severe eating disorder.
"Those who have worked with her on tour reported to me that Gaga barely ate for weeks at a time to fit into her costume," Ian told Star magazine (via The Daily Mail) in an interview. "She is sick and obsessed with her weight. One friend told me, Gaga will stare at herself in the mirror for hours on end, analyzing and critiquing her body. It's an unhealthy obsession."
Ian also claims that Gaga has done "every drug conceivable" and is far from a casual drug user, which the singer has admitted to in several interviews.
Either way, Gaga still has not lost her flair for outrageous fashion. What do you think of Gaga's Marge look? Vote in our Celebuzz poll and share your thoughts in the comments.
