Justin Timberlake Accepts Marine Corps Ball Invite (VIDEO)
Guess Mila Kunis isn’t the only celeb ready to serve her country. Justin Timberlake got a proposition of his own to attend the Marine Corps. Ball, too– and he has accepted! When questioned by reporters about the impending invite, the Friends With Benefits star responded:
“I’ll tell you what: I accept. But not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love. And not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to intimidate me. I don’t get asked out. Ever. So I was very flattered by that. If my schedule works out to do it, I’d love to do it. It’s an honor.”
Corporal Kelsey De Santis, currently serving as the only female at the Martial Arts Center for Excellence (MACE) at Marine Corps Base Quantico, asked Mr. JT via YouTube to be her date for the big event on Nov. 12.
“So Justin, you wanna call out my girl Mila? Well, I’m gonna call you out and ask you to the Marine Corps. Ball. If you can’t go, all you have to say is ‘cry me a river.’ Hit me up,” the Marine said, referring to Justin’s song off his Justified album.
Although rumors claimed Mila would not be attending the event, the Black Swan star confirmed that she will, in fact, be attending the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, N.C. with Sgt. Scott Moore.
