I really Don’t like Kesha’s style !!
I hope there aren’t birds being killed for these extensions!
If the feathers are real, the birds will die from being plucked.
no they will not the birds molt and the feathers are collected.
Actually there is no way that many feathers could be harvested that quickly without killing birds. If you investigate the process, you will see that all major companies that seell them started making them for fishing lures, and the practice in the industry has been for a long time to kill the birds. And also, they are not bred for meat so the animals are wasted. I am not the kind of person to get uptight about every little thing, but the thought of a rooster dying so I can put one of these things in my hair disgusts me. I am very surprised that some very compassionate people are sporting these things…. even the fake ones encourage the trend and contributes to bird death….
What is with this new feather extension thing? Do people wanna be birds or????? I think it looks alright, but obviously not real….stick with the real hair extensions..I think they look awesome
I am actually loving this trend! I think it’s so amazing! I actually just went to Urban Outfitters and got a couple! I know Victoria Justice wears them and I really like them!
He is the sexiest ugly man on the planet!!!
you do know by saying this SEX GOD is ugly is blasphemy right?
This is such a stupid fad. It will die out soon like every other fad does.
They are chicken feathers. The birds are killed and the feathers harvested. These are the same feathers that have been used for years to make some fishing lures. Someone though that they would look good in their hair. Stupid but most fads are. The prices on the feathers have gone up so high that many folks cannot afford to buy the feathers for lure making.
I am very surprised that some very compassionate people are sporting these things…. even the fake ones encourage the trend and contributes to bird death….

I love How Selena sported it, she looked FAB @ the TCA’s! Always admire when she shows us her fashionista senses.
I am not sure about the other celebrities but I am info’ed on Selena’s feather earring drobe and she did say she doesn’t wear the feathers as things that symbolic or patronize any harm to the birds in any shape or form.
It’s a simple trend everybody, so CALM DOWN.
This does not mean or caution any harm to our dear beloved animals.
I wouldn’t wear one near any cats- they’ll think it’s a toy. Not anything against the cats, but they do have cat toys with feathers.
i love mine. i got a beautiful dark purple one. adds a lil somethin somethin to my hair when i dont feel like doing anything to it :o)
cool!
I thin that the feather extensions and earrings are really stupid.
Love this look!
