Lady Gaga Wins Over Howard Stern With Amazing Acoustic ‘Edge of Glory’ (VIDEO)
Gaga treated the infamously crude radio host to an unbelievable acoustic rendition of her song “Edge of Glory,” showcasing her gorgeous voice with only a piano for back up. Howard Stern was so moved that he declared it “one of the best performances we’ve ever had on the show.” Just like that, another skeptic is converted to the Cult of Gaga.
The Born This Way singer spoke with Stern for nearly 90 minutes, proving to be one of the most candid and detailed interviews the star has ever given. Touching upon topics including Gaga’s sex life, her past experimentation, and her drug history, the pop superstar answered frankly while always keeping her Little Monsters in mind.
When asked about her previous struggles with cocaine, Gaga replied:
I was for sure addicted… I think that I was lonely and there was something about the drug that made me feel I had a friend… I did it all alone in my apartment, and I wrote music. And you know what, I regret every line I ever did. So to any of the little sweethearts that are listening, don’t touch it. It’s the devil.
No, I got laid last night. Sorry, I sound like a whore, just walked right into that one.
Gaga may have honestly answered almost every question Stern threw her way, but she ended with a message for her fans:
I love you and I respect this show and I know you want to talk about sex and cocaine and all of that, but the truth is I don’t want anyone doing drugs, A, and B, honestly you should wait as long as you can to have sex, because as a woman you don’t even begin to enjoy it until your mid-20s. When you’re 17, you don’t even know how to operate what’s going on down there and you shouldn’t try.
