Just a few weeks after being released from house arrest, Lindsay Lohan returned to court on Thursday for a progress hearing following being found guilty for stealing a necklace earlier this year.

The embattled actress showed up to the California courtroom a few minutes shy of 10 a.m. with her lawyer Shawn Holley by her side. Lilo wore yet another fashionable outfit, stepping out in a black maxi dress accessorized with a big black belt, a grayish vest and sky-high red soled Christian Louboutin heels. Despite her expensive shoes, Lindsay’s lawyer said that she could not afford the psychological counseling required by the court.

Judge Stephanie Sautner is giving her 21 days to sign up with a personal counselor. The judge also seemed a little frustrated that the actress/socialite had only completed four out of 60 days mandated of community service. She has to complete all the hours within one year of her sentencing. The judge said, “I’m not going to give her five extra minutes. I don’t want to hear, ‘Oh, I couldn’t do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie.'”

On June 29, Lindsay officially finished her house arrest. “She completed her home dentention today and she’s now back under the supervision of the courts and probation,” sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

The reason her time was cut short — just 35 days out of a 120 day sentence — is because her offense was a nonviolent crime.
