After much speculation that “Rehab” singer Amy Winehouse passed away due to a drug overdose on Saturday, the autopsy was conducted on Monday to determine the actual cause of death.

However, the Metropolitan Police said that further toxicology tests will need to be conducted and those results are not expected to be in for two to four weeks, The Associated Press reports. As of late, no cause of death has been established.

On Saturday, July 23, news broke that the 27-year-old Grammy award-winning singer died of an apparent drug overdose. The singer has battled addiction to drugs and alcohol for years, most recently checking into another rehab facility in May. On Monday, Amy’s UK rep Chris Goodman offered more insight to MTV News about the singer’s passing, saying it was her bodyguard that found her. “She was in her bedroom after saying she wanted to sleep, and when he went to wake her he found she wasn’t breathing,” Chris said. “He called the emergency services straight away. He was very shocked. At this stage no one knows how she died. She died alone in bed.”
