Orlando Bloom Speaks in Southern Accent for 'Main Street' Movie (VIDEO)
First, we saw him sporting a goatee in the new Three Musketeers movie previews, and now a mustache in the Main Street trailer! However, it isn't Orlando Bloom's facial hair that's the talk of the small town so much as the British actor's Southern accent in his new indie movie.
Orlando plays a cop named Harris Parker in North Carolina, and his country drawl isn't too bad. Watch the trailer and let us know in the comments what you think of the actor's accent. However, Orlando isn't the only British star trying out his Southern drawl.
Oscar winner Colin Firth's character shows up to town as the tall, dark stranger. The description of the movie reads: "Several residents of a small Southern city whose lives are changed by the arrival of a stranger with a controversial plan to save their decaying hometown. In the midst of today's challenging times, each of the colorful citizens of this close-knit North Carolina community, will search for ways to reinvent themselves, their relationships and the very heart of their neighborhood."
When he's not making movies, Orlando is now a family man. Check out the pics below of Orlando lunching with his wife Miranda Kerr and son Flynn!Twitter and Facebook for more movie news, pics and trailers.
