Prince William & Kate Middleton Partake in (Other) Royal Wedding Festivities (PHOTOS)
While we're sure this royal wedding will be a whimsical affair, we have a feeling it won't be quite as extravagant as Prince William and Kate Middleton's April nuptials!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen in Scotland boarding a yacht to celebrate the wedding of William's cousin (and Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter), Zara Phillips, on Friday afternoon. A vision in green, Kate was all smiles as her husband of exactly three months (the two married on April 29), stayed close by her side.
So, what do you need to know about Zara and her soon-to-be-husband?
Zara, 30, is marrying rugby player Mike Tindell, 32, on Saturday July 30. The two have been dating for seven years and both have athletic backgrounds, considering Zara is an avid equestrian who could possibly be participating in the 2012 summer olympics! Although Zara doesn't have an official title (her mother, Anne, daughter of the Queen, chose to not give her a title when she was born), it is still considered to be a royal wedding.
The ceremony will be small (well, small for the royals considering the Duke and Duchess had nearly 2,000 attend their nuptials) as they are expecting around 400 guests.
Fun fact: the royal wedding between Prince Charles and Princess Diana took place 30 years ago today (Friday, July 29)! Check out some photos from the more recent royal wedding below.
