Jessica Alba: 'My Mom Definitely Taught Me How To Hustle'
Jessica Alba (pre-baby bump of course) looks stunning as she graces the cover of Lucky Magazine's September issue in a purple and black polka-dot tank dress. In the issue, out on newsstands August 9th, the sexy actress discusses everything from her trying to be the "perfect mom" to how she maintains her fabulous figure. Admittedly, Alba is not a fan of dieting (she has 1,200 calorie meals delivered to her) or working out:
“In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.”
The Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World star also opened up about how she sometimes gets obsessed on making her three-year-old Honor's life perfect, but realizes that she needs to let her allow her to "make mistakes and act nuts".
As for her sexy persona, Jessica tells Lucky that she's never been perceived as anything but a sex symbol and that she's given her career a "post sex symbol," explaining:
"I’ve kept my future in mind. I wasn’t going to be a flash in the pan. I want my career to last a long time."The thirty-year-old will have her hands full as she welcomes her second child later this year, and still considers advice from her mother who used to take her to auditions. She recalls fibbing about her acting experience, saying, “My mom definitely taught me how to hustle.”
That she did! Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World comes out August 19th and be sure to check out the rest of the interview when Lucky's September issue hits stands next week!
