Nick Jonas Busts a Move Rehearsing for ‘Hairspray’! (VIDEO)
When Nick Jonas isn’t busy going on bowling dates with his lady friend Delta Goodrem, he’s been hard at work rehearsing for Hairspray!
The 18-year-old singer will star in a three-night run of the hit musical this weekend at the Hollywood Bowl, and we think he’ll make the perfect Link Larkin!
The musical, based on the 1988 cult classic directed by John Waters, is about an overweight girl in the 1960s who fights for civil rights via a popular dance show in her home town of Baltimore. It was also turned into a film in 2007 that starred Amanda Bynes, Zac Efron and John Travolta.
This special production of Hairspray also will feature Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur who originated the roles of Edna and Tracey Turnblad (respectively). Corbin Bleu and Drew Carey will have roles as well.
