Port is looking for a design that is "natural, carefree, sassy, heavenly, and colorful." Check out this white, zip up, hoodie, with pockets as an example above!
Here are the rules:
- Design a limited edition Whitney Eve sweatshirt (JUNIOR SIZED)
- Can only contain ONE graphic, either on front or back but NOT both!
- Original pieces of artwork ONLY
- You may use anywhere from 1-8 colors

Sorry but just when the picture of my tribal girl uploaded the colours didn't seem to come out very clear in the picture-the girl has skin shaded in grey- in this sense she would not be of any particular race/nationality-she could be anyone,,,anywhere-uniqueness combined practicality are (as far as i can see!) the keys to your new line!

I tried to imagine the girl who would have been the inspiration for such a line and I felt that a free-spirited earthy girl would be someone who would be this inspiration. I tried to incorporate this into the image created. I think this could go on the back of a jumper with the tribal design extend up across the left shoulder and the "Whitney Port" motif sitting just above the hip on the back left side. The girl also has "Whitney Eve" tattooed on her shoulder (hard to see in the picture but it extends over the shoulder-following the line of the shoulder-in a semi-circle). Thanks!

When we place ourselves to look at the sky first we see only a wide expanse of blue and clouds both at day or at night, but if we give to our mind the power of imagination we could give different shape to the clouds we see: flowers, hearts, angels, sweets, also music in the wind and whatever we want. I wanted to represent a state of our mind, not only the dream at open or seeing with in the mind’s eyes but also the peace and harmony that nature reflects in human beings. This is my idea for a natural, carefree, sassy, heavenly, and colourful picture, mixing real and imaginary elements. Hi Whitney! I just must say that I admire you, and that you inspire me in many ways! Here is my design, it´s composed by a girl in the middle with pearls, decorated with flowers, around her. And the text ``shoot for the stars´´ above her. And there are also creativity around her, wich, with the text, symbolises that you should follow your dreams and stand for who you are. I know that the design is not in the best quality, but imagine how it would look like as a finished print on a sweatshirt, then I think you´ll see what I'm aiming for. Love and Hugs Melinda Winell!

Hi Whitney! I'm submitting a design I made in remembrance of the Joplin, Missouri tornado. Joplin is a few hour drive my hometown in Missouri and is home to one of my best friends in the world. A week after the devastating tornado hit, I volunteered with my youth group and had an experience I'll never forget. Even though my peers and I volunteering were only able to recover a few valuables for one family and do what we could to help clean another 4 families properties out of the miles and miles of destruction, I got to be a part of a bigger picture: we became a piece of Joplin's heart. Ever since my couple trips to Joplin after the storm, I've been searching for ways to continue to help and spread the word to donate and volunteer. When Kasey (coincidentally my wonderful friend from Joplin) told me about your website a few days ago, I went ahead and checked it out-- leading me to your design contest. It was perfect timing! I thought that if I could design a graphic for your Whitney Eve sweatshirt, that would be so many MORE people aware of Joplin's story and heart. I added subtle colours, similar to Whit's blog background and added her signature 'xoxo Whit' to the design. Hope you like it. :)
Not sure if it matters but the wood grain was from another image but I recolored it and gave it different shape. I don't know if that matters towards "original piece" or not.

Here's my design! So I have used 8 colours to fulfill your wish for a colourful design. I think that the patterns in the mannequins makes it sassy, and carefree. The cursive writing of "Whitney Eve" represents the heavenly aspect of the design. The light curls of your hair, and the incorporation of green, and a flower make it natural. :) The would go on the back of the sweatshirt in the same position as the previous sweater (if a picture of a sweater with the design is required, I can include that.) This is a design i created at school..
