Another one of the Real Housewives is attempting to break into the music world; this time it is New Jersey's Melissa Gorga, who released her new single, "On Display", to On-Air with Ryan Seacrest today. Gorga told the host, "I just think that everyone is going to be pleasantly surprised. It’s good, I like it. That was my first, as they go on they get better and better and better."

The lyrics talk about living life in the spotlight and how people want her to fail, especially the chorus of: "On display, each and every day, everybody is waiting on me to fall, everybody is waiting on me to crawl, but they can keep on waiting on me." Gorga has showed her toughness, both mentally and physically, on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, so these words come as no surprise to anybody who has seen her in action. Listen to the song above and let us know what you think!

She is not the first housewife to release a song and try to transfer from TV to music, as Atlanta's Kim Zolciak released the infamous "Tardy for the Party" and its follow-up, "Google Me", as well as Countess LuAnn of the New York series and her "hit", "Money Can't Buy You Class." Even controversial Jersey housewife Danielle Staub took a shot at the singing gig when she performed an original song called "Real Close" on Watch What Happens Live.

Compared to these songs, we think Melissa's is definitely one of the best, but only time will tell if she can start a legitimate music career, which none of her previous Housewives counterparts have been able to do. I think the song is alright. As she get more into music I think she will be able to master the music and the way she hears it and how she wants it. She loves Jennifer Lopez so I hope she just ain't trying to be j.lo but yet floowing her dream. I give her props tho for singing.

I like Melissa, but the auto-tune can't even hide the fact that she can't sing. Joe should have gotten her some singing lessons before investing in a studio. What a waste of good money.

I personally think she is missing her true calling and a way she can make a TON more money: being a psychic!! 'On Display' is all about the paparazzi and the public eye watching her, poor thing - such pressure. However, this was written, recorded, and sung while she was filming her first season of RHONJ, and the show wasn't aired publically yet so she wasn't even 'famous' yet. I doubt she had even done her first interview. Wow man, that premonition gave her such the gift of her first lyrics to her song. I think she should do a Miss Cleo psychic hotline type thing - replace the Jamacian accent for the Jersey one and you got a hit for .99 a minute. Go Girl!

I expected more from this song with the way it was hyped up by Melissa and her co-cast members. I found the song to sound like so many others, not original nor unique. I certainly don't understand the lyrics and how they can relate to her or anyone else seeing that she has only been on the show a couple of months. Is paparazzi really following her that badly when it was her own self that begged to be in the public spotlight? I don't find anything great about her voice except that she can carry a tune better than other housewives but I don't think that is saying much

That was freaking awful. Seriously. Why can't someone who loves her tell her to stop? She is humiliating herself.

I will say that this is a great song, I honestly liked it better when it was just her and the piano. this is a prime example of over production. But I know they will correct it in the remix.

Just being honest. The auto-tune in the song doesn't cover up how bad she sings. She may be the best from the other housewives. It really reminds me of Kim Kardashian's song.
