Beyonce Dazzles in Slinky Gold Dress at Roseland Ballroom (VIDEO)

Despite the rainy weather in New York, Beyonce was able to heat up the city last night when she performed the first of four sold-out concerts at the Roseland Ballroom.

The singer dazzled as she hit the stage and danced around in a slinky gold dress. As fans cheered on, she performed tracks from her album 4 including "Countdown," "Love On Top," and "Best Thing I Never Had." Watch her performance above.

Over the weekend, Jay-Z compared B to the late Michael Jackson. Speaking to 99 Jamz, the "Otis" rapper revealed:

"What I've learned from her is similar to what I learned from [Michael Jackson] - and I know that's blasphemy to compare the two because Mike was such an innovator - but I think she's like the second coming."
