At only 23-years-old (she turns 24 in September), Hilary Duff announced she is expecting her first child with husband Mike Comrie and this got Celebuzz thinking about all those other Hollywood ladies who had kids at a young age.

Britney Spears had her first son Sean Preston at only 23, while her little sis Jamie Lynn Spears was a mere 17-years-old when she welcomed her daughter Maddie in 2008.

Alexandra, i love how you love britney and everyone else and your sticking up for her, but im just wondering, you said shes a great mother, um shes caught driving without a seatbelt and her son when he was just a baby, just sitting on her lap, and have you seen all the photos and videos with her kids, hows shes dropping them, and almost dropping them, like seriously, i love britney, im proud shes gone to rehab and as gotten her act together, i hope she stays like that, and im hopping shes become and better mother, one that looks after her kids, im sure shes a great mother now :)

anyone who thinks hil is too young needs to get a life and worry about themselves 24-26 is the best place to start especially if the person wants a big family. my only concern is with teens & people with no job/youngun’s getting pregnant and then having no $ to support. But now they can just get a reality show on cable ew. None of these celebs have to worry about that or deal with that stress.

Im a young mother and who cares….there are so many older moms that are beyond careless when it comes to their kids…people need to stay out of other peoples life and focus on their own shit….. god knows everyone is going through their own issues….. quit hating on everybody, jesus!
