The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards are Sunday and we’re already getting excited!
Some of the most mind blowing, memorable performances have emerged from the stages of the VMAs, and one star who always comes to mind is Britney Spears! We found her show stopping number of “Oops! I Did It Again” at the 2000 VMAs, which serves as a good example of a hard-to-beat performance!
To get us prepared for all of the excitement in store, we’ve found some of the best performaces from over the years.
Madonna set the standard for all pop performances with her memorable 1984 show of “Like A Virgin”
Once again, Madonna steals the show with “Vogue” in 1990.

When I think vma I think of 1 name. BRITNEY.
Britneys performances are so over rated. She barely danced in them, all that’s famous about them is gimmicks like the snake and her stripping.
Janet is the no.1 performer, her performances on the VMAS have always been high burts of energy and dance, like her opening 2000 performance of ‘doesn’t really matter, or her performance of ‘if’ in ’93 OR her tribute performance to Michael of ‘Scream’ in ’09. Talking of Michael, his greatest hits medley performance in ’95 was probably the greatest ever VMA performance, and Janet was there giving him a standing ovation. Jacksons rule and they deserve it cause they actually give killer performances! Britney
