Lady Gaga is known for her televised appearances in award ceremonies, dressed in dresses made of meat, Kermit the Frog heads, and plastic bubbles. But now Gaga is ready for her most daring appearance yet - as a cartoon!

Gaga has just recorded a guest spot for an episode of The Simpsons, titled "Lisa Goes Gaga," and told EW about her unforgettable experience:

"I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor."
The cartoon-version of Gaga travels to Springfield to cheer Lisa Simpson up "through the power of speech, song, and a flash mob," and even shares a kiss with Marge!
“I play a little bit of a slut," reveals Gaga.
The episode will air in spring 2012 during the show's 23rd season, which kicks off Sept. 25. Are you excited to see a cartoon Gaga? Sound off in the comments!

I hope they include Lady Gaga in the next Star Trek movie as a singer with dark connections to the villains. With her futuristic music and style, she would fit right in.
I’d like to see Kirk, Spock and McCoy go undercover to a concert of hers on a distant planet like with Diva Plavalaguna in The Fifth Element (1997). When she sings Bad Romance, Paparazzi, Poker Face or Just Dance, her show could be raided by many henchmen who have a thunderous phaser fight with Kirk, Spock and McCoy like the intense post-bank heist gunfight in Heat (1995).
