Lady Gaga is known for her televised appearances in award ceremonies, dressed in dresses made of meat, Kermit the Frog heads, and plastic bubbles. But now Gaga is ready for her most daring appearance yet – as a cartoon!

Gaga has just recorded a guest spot for an episode of The Simpsons, titled “Lisa Goes Gaga,” and told EW about her unforgettable experience:

“I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor.”

The cartoon-version of Gaga travels to Springfield to cheer Lisa Simpson up “through the power of speech, song, and a flash mob,” and even shares a kiss with Marge!

“I play a little bit of a slut,” reveals Gaga.

The episode will air in spring 2012 during the show’s 23rd season, which kicks off Sept. 25. Are you excited to see a cartoon Gaga? Sound off in the comments!
