Pittbull Responds to Lindsay Lohan Lawsuit (VIDEO)
LiLo sued the rapper for using her name in his song "Give Me Everything." She claims the lyrics, "Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’ / I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan," are "offensive and disparaging" -- but the man behind the music says his words are getting twisted!
"When I say 'I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,' I'm saying she runs her world and I run mine," he says in an exclusive interview with Univision's Pamela Silva Conde.
"However she moves, whatever she does, people talk about it in one way or another," he adds. "To me it was more uplifting. I don't want to bring [negativity] on anybody."
Not only does he say that he supports the actress, but he actually goes on to invite her to join him at the MTV Video Music Awards. He'll be performing the song during the broadcast.
What say you, Celebuzzers? Is Linds misinterpreting the song? Or is Pitbull backtracking to save face? We think they should work it all out and get on the stage together!
To use some ones name on anything without permission is totally wrong. I don't care who you are, the law is it law...

Lindsay Lohn is a drunken mess. She has gone down hill since her ' mean girls' days. I dont think she has much room to talk considering everything. As for the song I think it depends on how you take it. Of course she is going to say its meant in a mean way so she can sue (and make some money since you dont get an income for being a druken drugie). And its to be expected pitbull would say the lyrics isnt meant disrespectfully. There are dozens of examples of song lyrics people have sued over. It is just a never ending cycle in hollywood.
He's probably just backtracking because he doesn't want to get sued.
