It's been quite the year for Kreayshawn!

In a matter of months, the Oakland-born rapper not only signed with Colombia records, but she has been nominated for a VMA for best new artist!

Kreayshawn, who is best known for her catchy tune "Gucci, Gucci," sat down to talk about how her musical journey came to be.
