James Franco has let his curls and his stubble grow out! The Oscar nominee showed up at the Venice Film Festival all smiles for the photo call for his film Sal

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters some time this year and the plot of the film as described by IMDB reads: 

Mineo’s rise to fame in such films as 1955’s “Rebel” and 1960’s “Exodus,” his conflicted sexuality and friendships with Dean and Natalie Wood, as well as his 1976 death in West Hollywood after being stabbed by a pizza deliveryman.
