Adele Talks Body Image and Being Single

Adele's 21 album has been one of the biggest albums of the year, and for good reason. The singer opened up to British Vogue Magazine (via Just Jared) about keeping a healthy self image and revealed why she's staying single.

The "Rolling in the Deep" singer commented on the pressures to be perfect while in the public eye, saying:

“I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I don’t want that in my life. I have insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.”
Adele's latest album is very much about getting over a past relationship, which led Vogue to ask her about her current relationship status. She said of being single:

“I do get massively distracted when I’ve got someone in my life, which I can’t afford to do right now. Besides, no one treats me as well as I do.”
However, she does plan on having kids, preferrably a bunch of boys. “I’ve always got on better with boys. Most of my friends are boys. Like, if I ever have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers whereas girls can be so mean to each other.”

Adele brought down the house at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards when she performed her hit "Someone Like You." Check it out below.

You actually make it appear so easy together with your presentation but I to find this matter to be really one thing that I think I might never understand. It seems too complicated and very extensive for me. I am looking ahead to your next publish, I'll attempt to get the cling of it!
