Armie Hammer had a breakout year in 2010 thanks to his critically acclaimed portrayal of the Winklevoss twins in the Oscar-winning movie, The Social Network.
Now, the 25-year-old hunk is set to take Hollywood by storm. He's already wrapped filming on Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar (Nov. 9), in which he plays J. Edgar Hoover's right-hand man and alleged lover, Clyde Tolson. If that wasn't enough, he'll also play - what else? - a Prince opposite Julia Roberts, Lily Collins and more in Tarsem Singh's upcoming Snow White movie.
Armie talked about this and more in the latest issue of Details, on which he so handsomely graces the cover. On working with Julia Roberts, he quipped, "Julia had a line about how smooth my chest is," he says, "and it's not. So the producers were like, 'Okay, just shave him.' And I was like, 'WHOA. I spent 25 years earning this chest hair. I'm wearing purple tights and a codpiece, so, please, let me keep my manhood.'"
Armie also opened up about his high-class upbringing, working on J. Edgar and his seriously awesome-sounding wife, 28-year-old TV journalist Elizabeth Chambers, who once confronted Armie's J. Edgar co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, about hooking up with her friend.
"I actually met Leo when I was modeling in Tokyo when I was in high school," she said. "He hooked up with my roommate. When I saw him on set after all those years, I said, 'Tell me you're not an a******. Do not make me hate you for the rest of the shoot. She was Spanish -- you took a bath your first night together. What's her name?' And he goes, 'Marta.'"
