I agree totally. My money will not go towards a fiasco such as this is turning out to be. I am totally disgusted with Burton. To think that Johnny would even agree to this is really disappointing.
It looks like Burton has no regard or respect for a much loved Barnabas Collins as we can see by this garish picture. Johnny looks like a cross between Edward Scissorshand and Charlie of the Chocolate Factory. A true clown indeed here. If he wants to add to one of the Batman movies or a Transformer movie than he should not besmirch the name of "Dark Shadows" by Johnny as this caricature and go on and call the movie something else. I think Burton has lost is marbles.
I was hoping they would give "Dark Shadows" all the respect due to the once ground-breaking soap! Also, Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) deserved better than for Burton/Depp to make him into a "cartoon-ish mockery"! Barnabas could pass as a "normal" man, most of the time. Depps "look" actually seems to be poking fun at the great soap! No hard-earned cash from this man's wallet!
