Elizabeth Olsen on Her Nude Scene: Movie Wouldn't Be as Disturbing Without It
"The paparazzi were really frightening," she tells GQ. "I thought, Maybe I'll just skip that part."
Lizzie isn't a one-trick pony. She trained with the Atlantic Theater Company and studied acting, dialect and stage combat in Russia. Definitely impressive! At 22, she's a strong Oscar contender for her performance as a young woman influenced by a cult leader in the indie thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene, hitting theaters Dec. 22. She also had to strip down for her role, but that didn't bother the actress.
"The movie wouldn't have been as disturbing without it," she said. "Taking away someone's sexuality, making it something you don't even own anymore----that's the scariest thing."
