Report: Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez Split

The summer of celebrity splits isn't over. With fall just around the corner, Us Weekly is reporting that New York Yankees baller Alex Rodriguez, 36, and actress Cameron Diaz, 39, have called it quits!

"They broke up recently," the magazine's source said of the power couple. "She's very busy with her career and he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals."

So was the break up amicable?

According to Us Weekly's source it was. "They're still very friendly and like each other. He has an enormous amount of respect for each other."
