Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev Dish on ‘Vampire Diaries’ at the 2011 Emmy Awards
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev hit the Emmys together, and chatted with Celebuzz about the new season of Vampire Diaries.
“You know, there is some cool stuff happening!” Ian told us. “Stefan sort of flips a little bit. Damon’s kind of not happy about that, he’s in a bad place ultimately. But Damon and Elana have some great banter, I’m [excited for fans] to see that.”

“They are like an old married couple it’s great. Also, Damon’s bromance’s this season are definitely awesome. There is some cool interaction with Klaus,” continued Ian. “We’re lucky we have these cool characters to play, going in and out of the decades.”
“We dive into the 20′s which is one of my favorite decades. That and the 70′s,” spilled Somerhalder. “In the 70′s I want to see Damon at a Rolling Stones concert because you know he was partying with Mick [Jagger]!”
As for Ian’s real-life leading lady?
“I’m excited for [fans] to see the relationship between Caroline and Tyler,” Nina told us. “They are bringing things up a notch.”
